Week 84- Iganga, Uganda with Elder Bukasa

Sometimes Missionary life seems the same day after day. We get up pray, exercise, pray, study, pray, eat, pray, walk, teach, pray, eat, pray, teach, walk, pray, eat, walk, pray, find, teach, walk, pray, sleep, repeat. There are a few miracles and a lot of great people squeezed in there. The miracle this week was I gave a talk in church on repentance and was able to sign the whole thing! I am really enjoying signing and teaching. We have 6 deaf people that we are currently teaching.
Shalom, Joana and Patricia, the sisters we baptized 2 weeks ago were confirmed on Sunday. That is them in the pictures above. We are averaging about 20 miles of walking each day. Our guards Fred and Raymond love to proselyte with us. They are both members and hope to be missionaries themselves soon. We have some really solid people we are working with on progressing towards baptism. All are attending church regularly! I love working with  Sister Petra right now. She walks an hour and a half to get to church. There is such sacrifice when it comes to many of the saints here in Africa.  Count your blessings and live with gratitude!
